Governor and Lt. Governor Proclaim March 2017 as “Procurement Month”
Governor David Y. Ige and Lt. Governor Shan S. Tsutsui issued a proclamation naming March 2017 as “PROCUREMENT MONTH” in recognition of the Alaska-Hawaii Government Purchasing Association (AHGPA) and the National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP). The proclamation recognizes the many contributions made by public procurement professionals and their role in promoting an effective, efficient and open state government.
