Crisis Purchase of Services
Crises purchases are for services that:
- Seriously threaten life, health or safety;
- Are not already available through another contract; and
- Needed immediately.

Brief Description of Procedure | Crisis purchase of services shall be made with as much competition as is practical under the circumstances.

Public Notice of Award | Required. Must be posted to Awards/Contracts Reporting Website (Executive Branch) within 7 days after notice of award.

Protests | None provided by statute. |
Electronic Procurement System | Not being issued on the State of Hawaii eProcurement System (HIePRO) at this time. |
