Surplus Public Auction
The State Procurement Office, Surplus Property Office is selling off thousands of its small items recovered from local airports in a partnership with TSA. These items are now available to the public through an online auction process.
The website is designed to give the public free and exclusive access to thousands of items, available to the public for pennies on the dollar. To register please visit https://sposurplusauction.ehawaii.gov and register as a bidder with an ehawaii.gov account. Potential bidders are also able to sign up for direct notifications of new auctions based on categories of their interest.
The public will be allowed to bid on items over the course of two weeks based on pictures and descriptions of the property. All items will be sold to the highest bidder at the close of each auction. Bidders will not be able to inspect the products prior to close of the auction but all items are grouped by name brand or function. Many of the items including; knives, tools, kitchen gadgets and more are in new or like new condition with many still in its original packaging.
The Surplus Property Office is self funded and the proceeds from sales will go toward sustaining its many other important functions for the State. The State Surplus Property Office has saved taxpayers millions of dollars annually by selling surplus State and Federal property for a fraction of its value to public entities and eligible nonprofit organizations.
